The HistoCrypt 2026 conference in Amiens, France was a fantastic event. Despite the heat – we experienced some of the hottest days ever recorded in Central Europe – the conference atmosphere remained inspiring.

I had the pleasure of contributing two presentations. My main talk focused on the encrypted notebook of the criminal Petras Dominas, while my Lightning Talk introduced the Gun-Wa cryptogram.

Another highlight was the small special exhibition organized by the ARCSI Museum, showcasing cipher machines and cryptographic devices.
